Gottman Method Couples Therapy
The Gottman Method is a specialized approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple’s relationship, and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory. The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a humanistic, evidence-based approach to couples counseling, drawing primarily from attachment theory to facilitate the creation of secure, vibrant connection with self and each other. EFT helps the couple identify and transform the negative processing and interaction patterns that create distress. Couples will learn to communicate their emotional needs more effectively fostering a more secure attachment bond in the relationship.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a brief psychotherapy method that combines principles from several forms of therapy. It is an evidence-based therapy that can create dramatic improvements in a variety of psychiatric disorders. It has been used to reduce the impact of symptoms related to stress, trauma, and distressful memories and increase the capacity for resilience in a short treatment plan. ART was created in 2008 by Laney Rosenzweig, a licensed marriage and family therapist. It was crafted from the basis of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and also includes treatment modalities from Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brief Psychodynamic Therapy.

Splankna
Splankna Therapy is a holistic therapy created by Sarah Thiessen. It is a combination of several protocols including EFT, TFT, NET, and EMDR and is the first therapy protocol to use energy psychology which operates using the same meridian lines that chiropractic and acupuncture use. Splankna work brings together the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of an issue all at once. This “whole person” approach can often facilitate change at a deeper level than more traditional methods. When body, soul, and spirit work together, the potential from change is maximized.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy technique designed to help individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and distressing life experiences. EMDR works by guiding the client through a series of bilateral eye movements, which are believed to help the brain reprocess and integrate traumatic memories in a less distressing way. This method reduces the emotional intensity of the memories, allowing individuals to gain relief from symptoms and foster emotional healing.
